CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

Medical Service Provider: IT Work Stream

A rapidly growing healthcare services organization was struggling to improve cash flow, improve throughput and patient experience, and decrease uncompensated care. Executive Education identified key performance drivers and examined how their current information systems infrastructure and business processes were contributing to unsatisfactory results. Upon research, we recommended a cloud-based, fully supported, integrated electronic health record, billing, and patient engagement platform that enables the organization to improve insight into patient deductible obligations and to redesign and integrate clinical documentation with billing and claim management. The result is a 7 percent increase in revenue, a 50 percent decrease in days in accounts receivable, and a 75 percent decrease in potential revenue lost to collections.

Health Economics Work Stream

An early-stage health information technology firm designed a clinical decision support system to guide providers through the prescription and management of pharmacological interventions for a common cause of cardiovascular disease. The organization was struggling to articulate the financial and clinical value of its tool. Executive Education developed a health economic and outcome simulation tool to estimate the value of the decision support system based on published medical research in the context of ongoing health care reimbursement reform initiatives. Using the tool, the firm was able to show substantial return on investment under a variety of reimbursement models that enabled them to develop customized marketing strategies.
