Patricia Samuels is a seasoned project manager with over 30 years of experience as an instructor and practitioner. She has held her PMP credentials since 2001. Currently, she works for the Virginia Information Technologies Agency in the Project Management Division responsible for project and procurement governance and oversight for Health and Human Services agencies. Her interest in project management sparked as a Business Process Reengineering Analyst recognizing the need for repeatable processes and tools to plan and execute successful projects. She continues to give back to the profession through authoring project management material, mentoring, and speaking engagements.
As a skilled instructor, she works to determine the specific needs of the target audience in the public and private sectors. Her strong facilitation skills are complemented by her creative and interactive training techniques.
