Dr. Jan Nelson is an executive coach, a global HR practitioner and a graduate level professor. Following a 30+ year career with GE Healthcare, she now coaches and consults with global firms, start-ups and nonprofits. She is a graduate of GE’s Human Resources Leadership Program, and she holds the GPHR, SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications in human resources.
Concurrently, Nelson completed her doctoral degree at the George Washington University in 2018. Her dissertation research examined how senior executives in globally-integrated business enterprises navigate significant changes, as viewed through the lens of paradox theory. Her published research was recognized by Emerald Publishing with a 2019 Literati Award.
